2 Weeks With the iPhone

Tired of hearing about it yet? Tired of seeing it all over the news? Yeah, I bet you are. And to be honest- I’m a little tired of random people at the mall and coworkers asking to see and play with it (the phone). But I guess I should not complain- I have the phone that I’ve been wanting for a long time. I’ve been using an old Nokia 3650  that I found in a drawer (my old motorola V610 died…and truth be told was the worst phone I’ve ever had) for over 6 months now. I’m sure you are tired of people’s impressions so I’ll keep my short:

Pros:

Beautiful interface, sleek, great ipod functionality, internet is amazing

Cons:

A little expensive (hah), and having to switch to AT&T (formerly Cingular).

I’ve been with T-Mobile for a little over 5 years now and I’ve been very happy with them..and to be honest, I’m a little sad to see them go. Their customer service is first-rate (and about a zillion times better than my 2 year stint with Sprint…what a nightmare…And now Sprint is canceling troublesome customers contracts! BS!).  My contract is up in a month so a little overlap…

All in all I’m super happy with this phone. So fun to use, great functionality, and just an absolute pleasure. So, that is all you’ll hear from me about the iPhone- I know you’re a little overwhelmed.  (Oh yeah, check out some photos of and taken with the iPhone on my flickr).

Update: Still loving the phone! Here are some pictures:

Glad to hear that your latest and rapidly spreading rash is working out so well for you. I keep hearing good things about TMobile customer service, so that part sucks. I can tell you with ATT, keep a very close eye on your bill. Every month that I was with them I had to call and have them correct something. They always did without problem, but the fact still remains that I had to call. What a headache.

Cingular/ATT is a headache…however, the money I save on my bill more than makes up for it. Being that most of the people I call are with Cingular it means that I don’t lose any minutes with In-Network calling….And that’s HUGE. I haven’t had to call them to get anything adjusted on my bill lately, but when I do it’s as if they could care less.

Shameless 135I and Transformers plugs to follow:

Transformers: Go see it! NOW!

135I: Go read about it…then lust after it because it’s simply awesome. Much like the Transformers.

After having fooled around with Chris’ Iphone I am sold. That has to be the most spectacular example of a bunch of gadgets seamlessly incorporated into one gorgeous package. Using it is effortless. It is beautiful, and I want one. Chris, Kandice will send you the bill since you are the reason I want one…j/k. ;)
