Changing up the site a bit… new css book has inspired me to hack the theme a little. Going for an orange and gray (I never know if it’s grey or gray). One day I’ll build my own css file from scratch. Until then it’s hacking away at themes.

Let me know if you hate it or if something renders odd. Again, it’s SUPPOSED to be orange.

Update: New RSS button and sidebar colors to match.
Update 2: New favicon (refresh your browser) and switched the orange and gray. Also went with a darker shade of blue for sidebar headings. I think I’m getting closer to what I’d like this site to look like.
Update 3: Ok, trying out Google Adsense again. I get really good traffic for my one post involving a credit card scam so let’s see if this makes enough cash to buy a soda.

Does the wordpress app work? If so pretty slick.

Yeah, so it’s been like 4 months. To be honest I stopped writing here because I was 1) rather paranoid about who might be watching and 2) well, rather unsure if anyone was reading. However, I miss having this outlet so I think I’ll give it another go. So, although this post isn’t very substantive I thought I would let everyone know that I am going to *try* and post at least once a week. I regularly hit up twitter and flickr so it’s not like I’m not around…however, no more excuses. Some things on the cjupin.com to-do list include:

• Upgrade to wordpress 2.5
• Update the “about” page (notice I didn’t even bother putting in a link? You know why? It’s because it’s out-dated
• Site re-design (or steal a wordpress template-you get the gist)
• More photo, music reviews, and gadget speak. Also, some stuff about the MINI wouldn’t hurt either.
• Monetize this blog. HA! fooled you. I mean, google adsense wouldn’t even buy me a diet coke once a quarter.

So, that’s about it for now. I swear- keep your RSS reader in check. There WILL be updates. No, really. Come back soon.

Well, I’ve moved to the latest version of Wordpress (2.3).   However, due to some changes in this version my old theme (and probably 90% of my plugins) are not supported. What does this mean? Well, everytime I post I get a funny database error. There are plenty of people hitting this thing as well. So, I’ll be making changes to the theme and figuring out which plugins work and which don’t this weekend… So, if you see something funky- wait until Monday and it should all be worked out. Oh yeah, and the new version of Leopard comes out today- so, I’ll probably be busy with that too.  I’ll be hanging with my peeps at the Apple Store at Perimeter Mall at 5:30 pm. Come one, come all!Update: Google Sitemaps plugin was the culprit..new version downloaded and we’re good to go. 

Ok, like this theme better? More like the original but a little more sleek/black.
