Yeah, serious geek mode today… As if running this site isn’t work enough (well, when I post it’s work, anyway), you can now find my rants over at cj@tumblr.com.
What is it exactly?
In short, it’s another web2.0 ‘thingy’- but really, it’s a stripped down blog..no comments, not much customizations…just random stuff. However, you CAN
import RSS feeds- so I’ve got my flickr and my twitter being imported..which I will admit is

Indoor/Outdoor thermometers are so 2006.

The color of the base reflects the weather outside; actually changes to one of four colors depending on the weather forecast. If it’s sunny outside, it’ll turn red. If not, then pink if partly cloudy, green if cloudy and blue if it’s going to pour.

Ships in February. I have been looking for the ideal way to create a media center in the living room. Other ideas included a custom built pc (blech), a mac mini ($$), or even rigging the tivo (I’ll never have those two days of my life back from getting that thing set up). Leave it to Apple to find a creative way to solve my problem (and take my money).
Bravo.
No clue what I am talking about? You live under a rock or something? Read more about it here, here, or see some pictures from Mac World San Francisco here.

I was born to own this phone. Guess this means I have to switch to cingular/AT&T.
